Girne American University seeks for Tufts Management School

The Girne American University Cyprus recently sort the partnership of Tufts Management School to extend her tentacles to Nigeria. The partnership is to provide flexible program through the platform of Tufts Management School while Girne American University issue the degree certificate.

The executive MBA and doctorate degree programs are specifically statement in the partnership agreement, both on accelerated scheme, Tufts Management School designs the program as a blended learning on a Global MBA style, where learners will have classes online with workshops in Lagos and Cyprus. Graduation will hold in Cyprus and certificate issued is the same with the regular students on Cyprus campus.

Bank of Industry (BOI) Senior Staff Attended

“Critical thinking skills, tools for problem solving and decision making” a session for Bank of Industry Nigeria.

According to Wikipedia: “Bank of Industry Limited (abbreviated as 'BOI') is the oldest and largest Development Finance Institution (DFI) currently operating in Nigeria. It is owned by the Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MOFI) Nigeria (94.80%), the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) (5.19%) and private shareholders (0.01%). The bank has 11 members on its board and it is chaired by Aliyu Abdulrahman Dikko.

The bank is a parastatal under the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment tasked with providing financial assistance for the establishment of large, medium and small projects as well as the expansion, diversification and modernisation of existing enterprises; and rehabilitation of existing ones. In line with the Nigeria Industrial Revolution Plan and Economic Recovery and Growth Plan (ERGP) released by the Government of Nigeria, the bank focuses on financing industrial projects in key sectors of the economy such as: Agro and Food Processing, Light Manufacturing, Gas and Petrochemicals, Engineering and Technology, Solid Minerals and Creative Industries (arts and entertainment). BOI also focuses on promoting youth entrepreneurship, women-owned businesses and renewable energy projects.”

In the stride to fulfil her strategic objectives the BOI staff needed to continuously improve in essentials skills. Tufts Management School just concluded facilitating the session for Bank of Industry senior staff members in Lagos, Nigeria. Thirty-one DM’s and AM’s of the prestigious bank where at the 2 days session for an intensive program on the subject matter. Sessions where lead by Dr Lemmy Omoyinmi, Mr Solomon Avbioroko and Mr Ayodolapo Ajao, the team equipped participants with vital skills for problem solving and decision making through the critical thinking.

Mode of facilitation where through case study, games, exercises, slide presentation, group discussions / presentations, video presentations and manuals.

The Bank of Industry will continue the progressive work of economic development with this kind of deep immersion trainings for staff members. We believe BOI is an efficient bank with right processes and organisation well managed. Participants at the training appreciated the faculty and found the content delivered beyond expectation.

New Accreditations and Partnership

Tufts Management School offers excellent executive education programs for organisations and individuals with (MBA) degree pathway programs for professionals.
